Would you be offended if your girlfriend or boyfriend ask you to change ur appearance?

when me and my boyfriend started datin over a year ago i was 30 lbs lighter tan with blonde hair very fit and active cheerleaded and played soccer now i like complete opposite and dont play soccer or cheer. he was about 30lbs lighter too with short spikey hair and only a gottee now he has long gross hair and facial hair that is so sick. i feellike i not attracted to him anymore i love him but i ask him to cut his hair and shave his face so it doesnt look like he is homeless and he got rly offended. i feel bad but i miss my old bf
