Does Obama believe his own press on how wonderful and untouchable he is?

Is that why he's getting too loose with the facts, like when he voted for emergency funding for our troops, when he voted against controls on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae and when he voted against energy, all the while requesting more than a million dollars a day he was in the senate in earmarks for his own pet projects?
