In calculus, can the nth-Term test can be used to show convergence?

The nth-term test is used to prove divergence. The converse does not follow. For example, the harmonic series Sum_1^inf 1/n fails the nth-term test (1/n has a limit of 0 as n -> inf) but the series is still divergent.
