Hi! I am an italian student of languages and studying your irregular verbs i noticed?

that some of them have the same construction (e.g. bring brought brought - fight fought fought- speak spoke spoken - take took taken...) is there any phonetical rule why this phrnomeno takes place? I woul really appreciate it if you could help me!!!
